Atlas donates pump control panel
It may seem like a simple thing, but the donation of a “pump control panel” by Atlas Machine and Supply, Inc. will help to ensure that Kentucky’s water and waste-water operators are properly trained and certified. The training is essential because the operators are ultimately responsible for the safety of their community’s water treatment and sewage systems.
The donation by Atlas Machine and Supply was made in cooperation with pump manufacturer Hydromatic Pentair Water and will be used in classes conducted by the Ky. Water and Wastewater Operators’ Association.
Atlas was already actively involved with KWWOA before the donation. Atlas’ Pump Division is a regular sponsor of the association’s annual school. Our pump engineers also routinely serve as instructors for the school and other classes throughout the year.
“Atlas’ pump products and services have gained a following throughout the state,” said Garry Crabtree, Pump Sales Engineer. “We’re glad we could help.”
