Description:	Atlas Machine and Supply a 103-year industrial manufacturing, sales, and service is seeking a Grinder Machinist in Louisville, KY Job Responsibilities: · Grind crankshafts, rolls, cylinders, shafts, flat surfaces, etc. · Use precision grinding machines-micrometers-indicators-hand tools. · Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers. · Speed important, accuracy a must. Machines parts and ensures they meet predetermined tolerances and where applicable installs machined replacement parts into machines and equipment Educational Requirements / Qualifications · High school diploma or equivalent. · 3 years crankshaft and cylindrical grinder experience in a job shop environment desired. CNC grinding experience a plus. Hourly position. Pay base on skill, experience, and qualifications of the candidate. Full benefits, 401(k) plan, uniforms. Must have own tools.

Job Responsibilities: · Directs & plans rental of air compressors, generators and related industrial equipment and provide related customer services. · Confers with potential customers to ascertain equipment, supplies and service needs. · Advises customer on types of equipment to rent, considering such factors as cost, intended use and duration of need. · Responsible for accurate cost adjustments of all rental equipment based on usage. · Responsible for scheduling maintenance for equipment, and insuring equipment meets factory warranty guidelines. · Conducts perpetual inventory of rental equipment, ensuring that all information is correct. · Receives all calls for rental equipment, including after hour calls. · Work closely with sales and service members to maximize potential sale of rental equipment. Develop strong vendor relationships to insure maximum rental coverage and response. Educational Requirements/Qualifications · High school diploma or equivalent. · Five years experience in sale or repair of air compressors, generators and related equipment required. · Must have valid drivers license and a good driving record. · Must have good telephone and human relations skills. Must be able to us PC as a word processor. This is a salary position for which the pay will be based on the skills, experience and abilities of the successful candidate.
