From 1907 to Now: Built to Last
Founded in 1907, Atlas started as Atlas Machine Company, designing and manufacturing elevators in Louisville, Kentucky. Over the decades, we’ve adapted and expanded into multiple divisions and departments—machining, field services, compressed air solutions, steel services, and more—serving industries nationwide and even globally.
We’ve weathered world wars, economic recessions, a global pandemic, and rapid shifts in technology. But we didn’t just survive—we grew. Not through shortcuts, but through doing the right things, the right way. By delivering for our customers, treating people with respect, and sticking to our values.
