This month, Atlas Machine and Supply reached a new milestone in our 118-year journey: over 300 employees strong. It’s a record-setting number for us—but more importantly, it’s a reflection of the people behind the growth.

At Atlas, this isn’t just about numbers. It’s about what those numbers represent: opportunity, resilience, and the continued legacy of a family-founded business that’s grown into one of the most trusted industrial service providers in the country.

### From 1907 to Now: Built to Last

Founded in 1907, Atlas started as *Atlas Machine Company*, designing and manufacturing elevators in Louisville, Kentucky. Over the decades, we’ve adapted and expanded into multiple divisions and departments—machining, field services, compressed air solutions, steel services, and more—serving industries nationwide and even globally.

We’ve weathered world wars, economic recessions, a global pandemic, and rapid shifts in technology. But we didn’t just survive—we grew. Not through shortcuts, but through doing the right things, the right way. By delivering for our customers, treating people with respect, and sticking to our values.

### Growth with Purpose

Crossing 300 employees isn’t just a headcount milestone—it’s a symbol of trust. It means our customers continue to believe in our work. It means we’re creating more career paths, developing more talent, and investing in better tools, systems, and safety.

From the long-tenured veterans who built the foundation to the new faces just starting their journey, our growth is powered by people who care deeply about doing great work.

### The Atlas Way

The “Atlas Way” isn’t something we write on a poster—it’s something we live every day.

It’s the way experienced team members take time to mentor the next generation. It’s the pride in solving a tough problem or shipping a part that helps a plant stay running. It’s resilience in the face of adversity. It’s rolling up our sleeves, getting the job done right, and treating each other like family.

Yes, growth brings change. But at Atlas, change isn’t something we fear—it’s how we evolve. We’re scaling our systems without losing our soul. We’re improving how we deliver without compromising what we value.

### A Message from Our COO, Erick Lawson

> “Milestones like this don’t happen from luck or good timing. They happen because of people who care deeply about the work, the mission, and each other. Hitting 300 employees isn’t just a sign that Atlas is growing—it’s proof that we’re doing it the right way. To those who’ve built this place over decades, and to those just joining us, thank you. You’re helping lead a company that’s bigger than any one person—and built to last.”

### Looking Ahead

We’re proud to be 300 strong—but we’re even prouder of what that means.
It means we’re building something that lasts.

Thank you to everyone who’s been part of the journey—from generation to generation, from Louisville to our growing footprint across the country. Here’s to what’s next.
