Atlas Machine & Supply is proud to announce the successful launch of our **Field Services Division** in the Houston, Texas area. Our new location hit the ground running with its very first job—delivering precision, on-site machining to keep a major manufacturing operation running at peak performance.

Our team was called to the **a bottling facility**, where an **injection molding press**—critical to bottle cap production—was showing **significant wear and misalignment**. Left unresolved, these issues could have led to reduced product quality and costly downtime.

Atlas Field Machinists **set up a Climax FF5300 flange facer** directly on the moving platen of the injection molding machine. By carefully **cutting the back surface flat and re-machining the mold surface to restore parallelism**, our team was able to correct the misalignment and extend the life of the equipment.

This precision work ensured **continued high-quality production** for this bottling facility while **minimizing downtime**—a perfect example of how Atlas Field Services delivers **on-site solutions with speed, accuracy, and reliability**.

The Houston team’s first project demonstrates our commitment to providing industry-leading field machining services where and when our customers need them most. With this successful launch, we’re ready to take on more projects across Texas and beyond.

**Need on-site repair or machining services?**
