Atlas Machine & Supply is proud to announce the successful launch of our Field Services Division in the Houston, Texas area. Our new location hit the ground running with its very first job—delivering precision, on-site machining to keep a major manufacturing operation running at peak performance.
Our team was called to the a bottling facility, where an injection molding press—critical to bottle cap production—was showing significant wear and misalignment. Left unresolved, these issues could have led to reduced product quality and costly downtime.
Atlas Field Machinists set up a Climax FF5300 flange facer directly on the moving platen of the injection molding machine. By carefully cutting the back surface flat and re-machining the mold surface to restore parallelism, our team was able to correct the misalignment and extend the life of the equipment.
This precision work ensured continued high-quality production for this bottling facility while minimizing downtime—a perfect example of how Atlas Field Services delivers on-site solutions with speed, accuracy, and reliability.
